SPOP last night could have been better... kudos to the production team for the 3.5hrs show... thats certainly ALOT ALOT of hard work for a 'live' show...

But did you guys realise that at the last 1 hr of the show.. there is no more camera panning the audience gallery? even if there are shots of the audience.. its zoom`ed in to those few particularly enthu groups of people? why? cox most ppl have already left the stadium... On one hand.. i think its kindda rude to leave a concert when other's performing (the fact that its a FREE concert aside) but on the other hand.. its a Sunday night and ppl gotta go to school and work the next day...

The show opened with a big bang.. it realli set the mood for the night and brought the whole atmosphere to a high point.. but i guess... it soon went down after that... where was my medley of oldies? I rather be hearing like 40 songs in a medley of oldies Made-In-Singapore (since its Singapore POP) then 2 full length songs sang by each artiste...

and no offence to any1 in the production team.. but i would have prefered a new mix of the melody of those oldies sang by the newer generations of singers.. 2 generations of Project Superstar and 2 generations of Campus Superstar... take the top 10 from each and you have abt 40 singers ready to line up back to back to 're-sing' those oldies..

I guess since its a SPOP thinggy which focus alot on local works, the line up of artiste for the concert could be better... yes.. there might be artiste that might not be well received by the local market.. but i guess after all.. they should have a fair share of exposure since they are made-in-singapore too? i would have love to see Chen Yu Yun sing that xi shui chang liu, and artiste long gone like Sly/Stella/Yi Da(is he still around?)/Meng Fei Chuan and many many more... and where is Cai Chun Jia? Kiera Gong? Rui En?

I certainly enjoyed the part when the 'F3' and Quan YiFeng were singing on stage... such impromptu "on the go" kind of presentation method I think is quite entertaining... JJ's presentation of his songs were great too.. accompanied by all the lighting effects...

A final note before I end this post, dont you guys think this pic below looks kindda cool? haha!
